LaToya Smith, DO

A proud native of eastern Oklahoma County, LaToya Smith, DO launched a career in the medical field as a teen volunteer at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital. She went on to graduate magna cum laude from Prairie View A&M University in the Houston area before attending medical school at the Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Medicine. She returned to St. Anthony Hospital to complete her residency, during which time she served as chief resident. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Osteopathic Association and Oklahoma Osteopathic Association.

Dr. Smith’s goal is for every woman to feel empowered in her health care at every stage of her life. She feels honored to build relationships with multiple generations of families and to have the opportunity to educate adolescent women as they are learning about how to create their best health outcomes in the long term.
