About Elie C. Azrak, MD

Dr. Azrak is board certified in nuclear cardiology, adult comprehensive echocardiography, interventional cardiology, cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from Aleppo University-Syria and completed his residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Azrak has also had three fellowships – in cardiology, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology. These were also done at Saint Louis University, where Dr. Azrak now serves as an assistant professor of medicine.

Dr. Azrak has memberships in the American Society of Echocardiology, the American College of Cardiology, the Council on Clinical Cardiology, the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, and the St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society. His medical interests include performing complex interventions including transradial catheterization, atherectomy, and peripheral stenting. He is certified in catheter closure of intracardiac shunts.
