Tara Rognan, DO

Tara N. Rognan, DO, is board certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulation. She received her medical degree from A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Des Peres Hospital.

Her special interests include well-women exams, osteopathic manipulation, pap smears, incision and drainage, joint injections, skin biopsies, cyst removals and management of chronic conditions. Dr. Rognan provides care to patients of all ages.

In 2008, Dr. Rognan received the Lifesaver Community Award from the American Red Cross. She is also a member of the MAOPS Young Physicians Committee where she helps organize the annual conference and speaks with legislatures about tort reform in Jefferson City.

Outside of work, Dr. Rognan enjoys going on medical mission trips to Honduras, where she visits multiple clinics to evaluate and prescribe free medication to patients. She is fluent in Spanish.
