Cody Bellard, MD

Dr. Bellard is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with sub-specialty training in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee, and in reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and knee.

Dr. Bellard received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Bellard returned to New Orleans for fellowship training in sports medicine at Ochsner Sports Medicine Institute where he developed sub-specialty expertise in the arthroscopic treatment of shoulder, elbow, hip and knee injuries. He was also a team physician for the New Orleans Saints and the New Orleans Pelicans.

Dr. Bellard is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.

Dr. Bellard currently is a team physician for Lindenwood University. He is fluent in Spanish and French.

Dr. Bellard serves St. Charles County at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles.
