Akhila Ramayapally, MD

Dr. Ramayapally completed her medical school education at Kasturba Medical College in India, then completed residency requirements at Saint Vincent Hospital (Worcester, MA) as well as a two-year Endocrinology fellowship at the University of Louisville (Louisville, KY). During her two-year Endocrinology fellowship training in Louisville, among other training activities and programs, Dr. Ramayapally held weekly outpatient continuity clinics at the University of Louisville Physicians Clinics and Louisville Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Her outpatient clinic experience included a wide range of endocrine related clinics that covered: Bariatric Clinic, Cystic Fibrosis Clinic, Transgender Medicine, Auto Islet Transplant Patients, Insulin Pump and Continuous Glucose Monitoring Clinic and experience in performing thyroid fine needle aspiration.

Additionally, Dr. Ramayapally holds membership in a variety of organizations including (but not limited to) Endocrine Society, American Diabetes Association, the American College of Physicians, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American Medical Association.
