Marin Marcu, MD

Dr. Marcu is board certified in gastroenterology as well as in internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from University of Medicine and Pharmacy – Bucharest and Carol Davila School of Medicine in Romania. Dr. Marcu received his residency training at Saint Louis University Hospital, where he also completed his gastroenterology fellowship. He has been in practice since 1999.

Dr. Marcu provides the following procedures including, but not limited to colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, flex sig, liver biopsy, paracentesis, Remicade infusion, small bowel endoscopy, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, and colon with banding of internal hemorroids. He has a special interest in advanced endoscopy. He is on staff at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - St. Charles.
