Yousaf Jalil, MD, is board certified in internal medicine. He received his medical degree from Hamdard College of Medicine and Dentistry in Pakistan and his residency from John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago.
Before joining SSM Health Medical Group, Dr. Jalil worked for McDonough District Hospital in Macomb, Illinois, as an outpatient internal medicine physician. His special medical interests include hypertension, type 2 diabetes, asthma, COPD, acid reflux, preventative care and sinus, ear and lung infections.
Since 2003, Dr. Jalil has been practicing internal medicine, providing care to patients ages 18 and older. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. He is fluent in English, Urdu and Punjabi.
