Lamice R. El-Kholy, MD

Dr. El-Kholy is board certified in internal medicine and in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. She has been practicing endocrinology in the St. Louis area since 2003. Prior to that, she completed fellowship training in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Washington University in St. Louis and residency at Hurley Medical Center, Michigan State University in Flint. She is a graduate of Cairo University Medical School and also has experience in the international medical graduate program at the University of Toronto and as a research fellow at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

As an endocrinologist, Dr. El-Kholy specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of all endocrine problems, including diabetes and osteoporosis, as well as thyroid, pituitary and adrenal disorders. She is an active member of the Endocrine Society, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Thyroid Association.
