Joel C. Hammond, MD

Dr. Hammond is board certified in general surgery. He received undergraduate degrees from both DePauw University and Purdue University. He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Indiana University Hospitals. Dr. Hammond is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

He served as vice-chairman of general surgery at St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital for eight years.

Dr. Hammond takes special interest in laparoscopic operations, including colon and hernia procedures.
