Hari H. Diwakaran, MD

Dr. Diwakaran is board certified in gastroenterology as well as in internal medicine. He has been in practice since 2002. Dr. Diwakaran served a gastroenterology fellowship at Saint Louis University Hospital after his residency training at Wayne State University – Detroit Medical Center. He attended medical school at Madras Medical College in India.

Dr. Diwakaran provides the following procedures including, but not limited to colonoscopy, EGD, flex sig, liver biopsy, paracentesis, Remicade infusion, small bowel endoscopy, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, and colon with banding of internal hemorroids. He has a special interest in colon colonoscopy for colon cancer prevention. He is on staff at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - St. Charles and SSM Heatlh St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis.
