Kami Owenby, FNP-C

Kami Owenby, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelor and Master of Science in nursing from Maryville University. Her medical interests include acute illnesses, hypertension and AFib.

Before joining SSM Health Medical Group, Kami worked as a family nurse practitioner at Southwest Medical Associates. She evaluated, planned and implemented care for the most optimal patient outcomes. She managed both acute and chronic illnesses. She provides care to patients of all ages.

Not only is she passionate about providing care to patients, but she is also passionate about molding nursing students into confident and successful nurses. With her role as an adjunct clinical faculty member at Maryville University, her number one priority is to mentor the students to think, process and apply their newly-acquired knowledge.

Kami is a proud mother to three boys.
