The historic PLA@ Louis B. Russell, Jr. Elementary School 48 (PLA@48) is a PLA network school serving scholars in grades pre-K-6. Our curriculum is scholar-centered and researched-based. Peer mentoring and cooperative groups highlight our classrooms where a wide variety of teaching strategies and learning methods are used. This enriched learning environment is designed to prepare our scholars to fully comprehend and function productively in our highly sophisticated and technical society.At PLA@48, we provide a rigorous, quality education for the scholars in our community.
