Jared W. Schiefer, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant, specializing in Family Medicine. Jared completed his medical education through the Physician Assistant Program at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. In his current practice, he provides primary care for patients of all ages. In addition to routine health care, such as annual wellness exams, school and sports physicals and vaccinations, Jared treats a variety of acute conditions. These include respiratory tract infections, fevers, cough, cold and flu symptoms, minor injuries and much more. He also helps patients manage chronic conditions in order to achieve their maximum level of health. He treats diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, depression, anxiety, back pain and many other diagnoses. 'My patient care philosophy is to treat every patient as if they were my only patient,' says Jared.
