Amy L Schomer, MD

Amy Schomer, MD, grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She has more than 25 years of experience as a board-certified pediatrician. She has raised two children of her own and has practiced medicine in Iowa and Nebraska. She brings her professional and personal experience to Farmington to be closer to her family. "My practice goal is to care for patients as though they were my own children," Dr. Schomer says. "I work hard to listen well, examine a patient thoroughly and make care plans based on best practices." Dr. Schomer is passionate about offering the latest and best practices in medical care by staying up-to-date on most recent pediatric guidelines. "I like to focus on the whole child and his or her place in their family," Dr. Schomer says.
