J. Marino Parra, MD

Dr. Parra is board certified in family and sports medicine. He has a wide variety of experience in both family and sports medicine all over the United States, completing a fellowship in sports medicine in 2011. His primary focus is to develop a culture of education and prevention with his patients. "My philosophy of care is to practice evidence-based medicine so that I can develop a great relationship with the patient and gain his or her trust," Dr. Parra says. He also enjoys providing care for patients of all ages in his family medicine practice and also has a special interest in sports medicine and non-surgical orthopedics. Dr. Parra is also bilingual in English and Spanish and welcomes Spanish-speaking patients to his practice. His practice is part of BJC Medical Group of Missouri, a well-established, multi-specialty physician group.
