Mary Kay Knight-Macheca, ANP

Mary Kay Knight-Macheca, ANP-BC, CDE, is a board-certified adult nurse practitioner and certified diabetes educator. Diabetes education has been Mary Kay's passion since she began practicing. "The most rewarding part of my practice is building relationships with patients that span many years and optimizing the health of the patients I care for," Mary Kay says. "My focus is helping patients with diabetes incorporate diet, exercise, medication and glucose monitoring into their lives such that the disease becomes a part of everyday life, but does not overwhelm the patient or prevent them from living a full and rich life." Her practice is part of BJC Medical Group of Missouri, a well-established, multi-specialty physician group.
