Rasheed O Abiola, MD

Rasheed Abiola, MD, is a board-eligible orthopedic spine surgeon. During his residency, he was increasingly interested in the unique conditions and injuries associated with the spine. Following that interest, he pursued a complex spine surgery fellowship, which he completed in 2017 at University of Utah Medical Center, the leading spine fellowship program in the country. "The spine surgery specialty is my passion because it grants me the opportunity to improve the quality of life of my patients," Dr. Abiola says. "The main goal of my practice is to exhaust non-operative options first by exploring the least invasive treatment plans." Dr. Abiola uses evidenced-based medicine to treat a variety of adult and pediatric cervical, thoracic and lumbar sine conditions. Outside of work, Dr. Abiola enjoys traveling, golfing, snowboarding, playing and watching baseball and cooking. Dr. Abiola's practice is a part of BJC Medical Group, a well-established, multi-specialty physician group.
