Susan J Hofmann, ANP

As a board-certified adult nurse practitioner, Susan Hofmann is pursuing her interests in endocrinology because of the impact the endocrine system has on all body systems. She has worked with people with diabetes for more than 30 years and she especially enjoys helping them understand how to manage this complex disease in their daily lives. She provides a variety of services, including general diabetes education, insulin pump education, and blood glucose monitoring, training and evaluation. "I believe in empowering the individual to be the captain of their healthcare team.", Susan Hofmann says. "With my educational background, I am uniquely prepared to both teach and manage disease processes." Susan and her husband raised their three children in the St. Louis area and they enjoy spending time with their three children and grandchildren. Susan Hoffmann's practice is part of BJC Medical Group of Illinois, a well-established, multi-specialty physician group.
