Chiniya Thapa, MD

Dr. Thapa is a primary care physician on the campus of Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Thapa earned his medical degree from the Xian Jiaotong University. He then completed his residency and internship at the Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners, Michigan State University. 'As a primary care physician, I try to be compassionate, and make patients feel comfortable during their visit,' Dr. Thapa says. 'I like to take care of patient and family as a whole and make a difference in patient's lives. As a primary care physician, Dr. Thapa focuses on preventative care for his patients. He performs annual physicals, employment physicals, well women exams, joint injections, and minor biopsies. His special interests are COPD, heart failure, diabetes and weight management. In addition to treating upper respiratory infection, arrhythmias, abdominal related complaints, sexually transmitted disease, peripheral arterial disease, Depression/Anxiety, he treats a wide variety of additional medical diseases. Dr. Thapa's practice is part of BJC Medical Group of Missouri, a well-established, multi-specialty physician group.
