Cathy I Cheng, MD

After graduating with Highest Honors in Biology from Harvard University, Dr. Cheng received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she received various clinical and research awards related to geriatrics. She then completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center, where she was the only resident across all specialties voted to be inducted into the 2014 Gold Humanism Honor Society. Pursuing her passion for Sleep Medicine, she then completed her Sleep Medicine fellowship at Stanford University. Throughout her career, Dr. Cheng has received multiple awards for medical student teaching. As a Sleep Medicine physician, Dr. Cheng provides care for a variety of conditions including, but not limited to, obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorders, and restless legs syndrome.
