Christopher L Schenewerk, MD

Christopher L. Schenewerk, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician. Dr. Schenewerk earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his internship and residency at Saint Louis University – Belleville Family Practice in Belleville, Illinois.

Dr. Schenewerk sees patients of all ages for various injuries and illnesses. He provides annual wellness visits and immunizations for adults and children, including school and sports physicals and well-woman exams. He also manages chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, allergies and high blood pressure.

Dr. Schenewerk enjoys family medicine because of the long-term health partnerships that can form while treating and caring for patients throughout their lives. He actively listens and answers questions, offering treatment options supporting patients’ long-term health care needs.

Growing up in the Freeburg, Illinois area, Dr. Schenewerk is proud to be able to practice medicine near his extended family. He enjoys traveling, hiking, and trying area restaurants.
