John P Shoup, MD

Dr. Shoup received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut Medical School. He then completed his combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Duke University, and continued there as Chief Resident in Quality and Safety. This training gives him expertise in both pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Shoup provides general primary care and pediatrics for his patients including physical exams, well-child-visits, care for children with complex health needs, adult health maintenance, women's wellness exams, management of chronic disease, asthma treatment, and wellness promotion for patients of any age.
