Sylvia Reyes, MD

Sylvia A. Reyes, MD, MBS, is a fellowship-trained Breast Surgical Oncologist with board certification in General Surgery. Dr. Reyes earned her medical degree and a master of biomedical sciences degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS). She completed a clinical research fellowship in breast surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, a residency in general surgery at NJMS, and a clinical fellowship in breast surgical oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Reyes works in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff to ensure that patients receive the most advanced and appropriate treatment, with a focus on holistic, patient-centered care, as part of a personalized care plan. She has a special interest in oncoplastics, nipple sparing mastectomies, hidden scar surgery, and elimination of health disparities in minority populations. Dr. Reyes is bilingual in English and Spanish.
