Amanda Aldana, NP

Amanda Aldana, MSN, APRN, NP-C, came to Beacon Medical Group Vascular & Interventional Radiology with over 14 years of experience as a nurse. She is now Nurse Practitioner who provides exceptional care through evidence based practice, leading to positive patient outcomes and increased patient satisfaction through appropriate resources and provider collaboration.

Amanda received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana in 2010. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University South Bend in 2013. She received her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Spring Arbor University in 2019.
Prior to working in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Amanda worked in a variety of settings including ICU, PCU, Cardiac Interventions, ER and Medical Surgical. She is a Medical Interpreter as she is bilingual in Spanish, and she also holds a certification in Med/Surg nursing.

Who is or was the most influential person/role model in your life?
My children are the most influential people in my life. As much as I think I may teach them, they surprise me by how much I continue to learn from them every day.

Do you have pets?
I have a Shar Pei, Princessa, whom we brought home with us 9 years ago from Mexico.
