My lovely wife is a native Texan and, while I am not from here, I got here as soon as I could! I am a Bay Area transplant who has found a home and proudly grown roots in Austin and have fallen in love with this city and its awesome culture and diversity!
I have long had an interest in residential real estate and originally obtained my real estate license in 2003 while simultaneously pursuing another passion of mine, cooking. Ultimately, I chose to follow that dream. My career in hospitality took me from the beautiful countryside of California's famed Napa Valley to the spectacular coastlines of Pebble Beach and Carmel to the culinary mecca of New York City and finally winding its way here to Austin.
Working as a chef taught me to appreciate the things you have and work hard for the things that you want. It taught me the humility to understand that life isn't always about you, to act in good faith, you need to put other people first. It taught me to shut up and listen, because attention to detail is what will make you stand out. It taught me to have the creativity to turn lemons into lemonade and find solutions where there are none. It taught me to multi-task, because life never throws just one curveball at you and lastly, it taught me to enjoy where I am right now, and not take myself too seriously!
