Pathology

Dr. Mona Sharaan is a Board Certified pathologist in anatomical and histopathology. Dr. Sharaan is developing and performing molecular-based tests to aid in the diagnosis, management and prognosis of different types of cancers. Dr. Sharaan received her BS and MD degree from Cairo University in Egypt and completed her residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. She completed her fellowship in cytopathology at Albert Einstein School of Medicine. Dr. Sharaan completed an additional fellowship in molecular pathology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.
