Rita Weiss, MD, Ph. D is a board certified hematologist-oncologist who earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Brooklyn College and her Medical Degree from University of Monterrey-receiving first place academic honors. In addition, she earned her Doctorate of Philosophy from New York University. After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Weiss completed both her Internship and Residency at Nassau Hospital in Mineola, NY. Upon completion of her Residency, Dr. Weiss completed her Fellowship in Neoplastic Diseases at Mount Sinai Medical Center, with the last year engaged in clinical research for the American Cancer Society.
