Wesley Leong, DPM, AACFAS

Wesley Leong, DPM, AAC-FAS earned his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis where he also interned as a student athletic trainer in the intercollegiate athletics department. He earned his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL. He completed his internship and residency at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA. Dr. Leong then went on to complete his fellowship training at the Newport Advanced Foot and Ankle Surgery program in Newport Beach, CA.

Dr. Leong's practice specializes in foot and ankle trauma, reconstructive surgery, tendon and ligament repair, arthroscopy, minimally invasive techniques, diabetic limb salvage and complex deformity correction. He prefers to exhaust all available non-surgical options prior to pursuing any surgical intervention. Dr. Leong is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot and reconstructive hindfoot and ankle surgery and has previously authored manuscripts for various peer reviewed publications and textbook chapters in topics pertaining to foot and ankle surgery.

In his spare time, Dr. Leong has been training, competing and coaching in various martial arts systems for over 20 years. When not in the office or on the mats, he enjoys fitness training, hiking, playing the piano and spending time with his family.
