"Ever since I was a young child, I was fascinated by birth and human body. I remember when my mom was pregnant with my sister, I told her that I wanted to be there, help her. I was about seven years old when she let me be there and hold her hand. I was hooked ever since. When I was pregnant with my first baby, I didn’t have a doula. Oh how much I wish I had a doula,because my birth experience wasn’t so pleasant as I hoped it would be. That’s when I stumbled into being a doula in 2018. I got pregnant again with my second child, this time I wanted a birth doula. My birth experience this time was so much better in so many ways. After that I also wanted to become a postpartum doula because of my experience as a mother in postpartum. I realize this is my calling to help mothers, in the most vulnerable, important stages of their lives. I took my trainings with Global Perinatal Services and ProDoula. I became a PALS-certified birth doula. I offer birth doula care for natural births, induced births, Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBACs), as well as doula support for medicated births and c-sections. I also provide postpartum doula support and breastfeeding support. As a doula, I don’t bring my own personal agenda to birth or parenting. My purpose is to support and encourage and empower parents to experience their birth their way, so I find out what you want and I will go above and beyond to make that happen and help with the best of my abilities. What I love most about being a doula is caring , supporting and loving parents through the journey of meeting their child. Also the endless knowledge I gain with each client about birth world, and making a difference for my client.
