Highlighted services and care at LVHN–Tilghman



-Dedicated orthopedic facilities: LVHN–Tilghman is the region’s only campus dedicated to orthopedics. The Center for Orthopedic Medicine–Tilghman, located in the 4815 building, features four state-of-the-art operating rooms, 16 spacious private and four semi-private rooms, a therapy gym and cafeteria. The area’s top surgeons perform inpatient procedures such as total joint replacements (hips, knees and shoulders) as well as spine and back surgeries. The campus is adjacent to the Musculoskeletal Center–Hausman Road where patients with injury or disease affecting the joints, tendons, ligaments, bones or muscles can see providers for physiatry, pain management, rheumatology, hip and knee replacement and spine orthopedic teams.

-Same-day surgeries: Outpatient orthopedic procedures, allowing you to go home the same day, are performed at LVHN Surgery Center–Tilghman (4825 building) in one of our three operating rooms and two procedure rooms.

-ExpressCARE: If you are feeling under the weather or have a minor injury, LVHN–Tilghman’s 4825 building is home to ExpressCARE. ExpressCARE is open 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., every day and offers no appointment, walk-in care for minor illnesses and injuries. Unique to this location is immediate attention for sports injuries and seamless follow-up with an orthopedic specialist, if needed. ExpressCARE–Tilghman is licensed as a service of Lehigh Valley Hospital. This means that services rendered at this location will be billed as an outpatient department of Lehigh Valley Hospital. Your insurance may apply part or all of the balance due to your deductible. Please contact your insurance provider if you have questions regarding charges for this type of service.

-Convenient X-ray services: Found in the 4825 building (within ExpressCARE, suite 101), we offer convenient X-ray services for you on a walk-in, no appointment needed basis.  X-ray is open daily from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.

-Toxicology clinic visits: These visits are offered every third Tuesday of the month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at ExpressCARE. You must have a referral for the consultation from your primary care provider or a specialist.

-Outstanding nurse professionals: Our nurses are among the best in the profession, reflected by the repeat attainment of Magnet® designation at our Lehigh Valley-based hospitals since 2002. Your care is in the hands of people who are dedicated to you, with many having earned advanced specialty certifications and educational degrees.
