Meet Aree Saed, DPM
Aree Saed, DPM, is a dedicated podiatrist board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. At Podiatry Care Plus in Laurel, Maryland, Dr. Saed provides comprehensive foot and ankle care to patients throughout the Washington metropolitan area.
Dr. Saed received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County​. He went on to graduate from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and ​completed a three-year residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Training at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak in Michigan. During his training, Dr. Saed participated in various humanitarian missions, providing medical and surgical care to children and adults in Guatemala.
In an effort to stay active in his field, Dr. Saed has continuously nurtured his growth and impact by contributing to featured publications, holding various professional memberships, and participating in several humanitarian missions. He has published articles in medical journals and is well versed in internal and external surgical fixation. Dr. Saed maintains memberships in the American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the Maryland Podiatry State Medical Association.
Dr. Saed is an attending physician at Washington Adventist Hospital, UM Laurel Medical Center/Prince George's Hospital Center, and Doctors Community Hospital. He also participates with the Wound Care Center at Laurel Regional Hospital and Washington Adventist Hospital and previously served as the Chief of Podiatry at UM Laurel Medical Center.
At Podiatry Care Plus, Dr. Saed is focused on conservative treatment options, minimizing the impact of treatments and utilizing noninvasive methods whenever possible. He is skilled in the treatment of many podiatric conditions, including fractures, bunions, and hammertoe, and also provides comprehensive diabetic foot care. Dr. Saed is trilingual, fluent in English, Arabic, and Kurdish, which allows him to provide care to a wider patient base.
