About Dr. Weber
Ian C. Weber, MD, is a complex joint reconstruction surgeon, who sees patients at his offices in Wheatridge and Westminster, Colorado. He is actively involved in the industry as an American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons member, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Fellow. His patient care philosophy centers around getting patients to the active lifestyle they want without pain or restrictions.
Dr. Weber earned a Bachelor of Arts from Austin College, located in Sherman, Texas, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Following his undergraduate degree, he completed medical school and his residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. He rounded out his medical training with a Joint Reconstruction/Trauma Fellowship from Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and a Complex Joint Reconstruction Fellowship at Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Shortly after, Dr. Weber worked at Creighton University Medical Center and at New West Orthopaedics. While he was working at New West, he also served as the Director of the Rapid Knee and Hip Recovery Program at the Kearney Regional Medical Center, where he focused on performing minimally-invasive total hip and knee replacements, as well as partial knee replacements.
Dr. Weber specializes in Robotic Total Joint Surgery. He has done the most Robotic Total Knee Surgeries in the Denver Metro. He also serves as a proctor for surgeons wanting to learn this new technology. Dr. Weber currently is involved in a number of multi-center studies involving Robotic Total Knee Technology and outcomes. With Robotic Total Knee surgery, “We are seeing faster recoveries, less pain, earlier range of motion and the decrease in pain medications.”  Currently, Dr. Weber is involved in the design and utilization of Robotic technology to help with Revision Knee Surgery.
Dr. Weber is also affiliated with Orthopedic Centers of Colorado and serves as a Total Joint Specialist at Cornerstone Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, P.C.
When Dr. Weber is not working, he can be found enjoying the outdoors: mountain climbing, trekking, backpacking, or kicking a soccer ball. As an outdoor enthusiast, with an adventurous spirit, he has traveled abroad to Ecuador, Peru, India, Ireland, and Russia. He has also completed mission trips to Cambodia.
