I appreciate so many aspects of cancer care and women's health. My patients consistently say they feel like they are in competent and skilled hands, and that I put them at ease.

The patient's goals drive a successful outcome, within the boundaries of what we can do. If a cure is not possible, I try to help my patient identify what goals they may have and balance that with what is possible. As a gynecological oncologist, I research and apply for grants to find the best solutions for my patients.

My patients and their families offer perspective to my life every day. I see families rally around their mothers and wives in a way that is touching and inspiring.
