Emily M. Moreno, MD

Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Emily Moreno, MD moved to Colorado when she was 12 years old. She also lived in Spain growing up and is fluent in Spanish. From an early age Dr. Moreno knew she wanted a career that would allow her to give back to people. Dr. Moreno hopes to make her patients feel accepted, valued, and understood. She places great emphasis on preventative care and wellness.“I work with my patients to create a relationship in which we have shared decision-making when it comes to their health. I am excited to meet my patients, treat them holistically, and to be a part of the SCL Health family."She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder, followed by two Masters: one in Public Health and the other in Bioethics. She earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado and then spent three years as an internal medicine resident at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
