Dora Dhakal, MD

Dora Dhakal, MD, earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Emory University. She is a member of American College of Physicians and American Medical Association. Dr. Dhakal treats adult patients and specializes in chronic disease management and preventative care. She has a special interest in diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and evidence-based medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Dhakal enjoys biking, traveling, playing with her dog (Layla) and her Cat (Aria), and spending time with her family. Dr. Dhakal is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
