William Holman graduated from Tennessee Technological University. He graduated in the top 10 percent of his class from Cumberland School of Law at Sanford University in 1990. He was admitted to practice law in Tennessee in 1990, and worked primarily in general practice, which included the areas of civil litigation, personal injury law, criminal defense, bankruptcy and insurance law, among others. He relocated to the Atlanta area in late 1992 after he was admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia.
