Girly Builds

In 2014, my husband and I decided we were unhappy with the quality and price of commercially available furniture and stumbled upon the Shanty 2 Chic website in search of plans. We are handy people, who just finished our 2nd house flip, and had time on our hands, so we decided there was nothing to lose and started building. Inspired by the plans of the Shanty 2 Chic girls we built a console table, coffee table, and triple pedestal farmhouse table. Finally, we were content with our home furnishings.

Fast forward about 8 months. Boredom had set in and our tools were gathering dust in the basement. Without the knowledge of my husband, an Etsy shop was opened, and the shop name Girly Builds was chosen. The shop was opened on August 28, 2015.
