David A. Larson Photography

David Larson is a native photographer and historian of the Indiana Dunes and a lifetime "Duner." He grew up exploring and photographing the Indiana Duneland, fought alongside the "Save The Dunes" group to preserve the duneland as Big Industry aimed to destroy it, and has in his portfolio some of the only remaining photographs of the Central Dunes prior to their demolition. David has contributed both photography and graphic design to the national lakeshore. His work has appeared in both the 2006 and 2007 Indiana Dunes calendars and the 40th Anniversary Commemorative Poster, as well as in a number of publications featuring the Indiana Dunes.
