Private Duty Nursing

Private duty nurses are registered nurses (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) who can provide a wide range of services, and are an especially good choice for people with complex medical needs.

They carefully monitor your loved one’s condition and communicate and keep in close touch with doctors and other members of the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

In general, a Home Health Aide is trained to work with a patient in the home and a Certified Nurse’s Aide is trained to work with a patient in a facility such as a nursing home or rehabilitation center. The training and type of care provided can vary from state to state.
