Beena Mathai-Jose, MD, MPH, IBCLC, RLC

Beena S. Mathai-Jose, MD, MPH, IBCLC, RLC, is a pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens. She is board certified in general pediatrics and a certified lactation consultant. Dr. Mathai-Jose is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and member of the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Examiners. She has worked in urgent cares, hospital clinics, and private practice. After graduating from New York Medical College with her doctor of medicine, Dr. Mathai-Jose completed her pediatric internship and residency at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Texas. She subsequently obtained her master of public health in general public health from New York Medical College. Dr. Mathai-Jose is passionate about caring for children and helping them grow and thrive. She is dedicated to developing long lasting relationships with families to help promote wellness and peace of mind. She has a special interest in supporting mothers with breastfeeding.
