"The postpartum period is full of incredible amounts of change. Some of those changes are magical and easy to talk about, and some of them are incredibly unpleasant. Regardless, change is challenging, and our American culture is severely lacking support for postpartum families. And I want to change that and help normalize people and families having support, especially in the postpartum period. Outside my doula work, I'm deeply invested in anti-racist work and social justice. I bring that with me to all parts of my life, including serving on the board of the Northwest Association of Postpartum Support. On my time off, I like to spend it outside in my garden, playing with my silly little dog, connecting with loved ones, and eating sweet treats :)"
