Renuka Pillai

Renuka Pillai, DO is a member of Summit Health’s Urgent Care Center team. Dr. Pillai practices emergency medicine, providing medical treatment to critically ill patients and those requiring urgent attention for a variety of illnesses and injuries. “I’m energized by the challenges presented in an urgent care setting,” says Dr. Pillai. “Being able to combine knowledge and expertise with communication and compassion to improve the well-being of a vulnerable patient is an incredible privilege and something I truly love to do.”

 

When not caring for patients, Dr. Pillai enjoys reading, traveling, trying new foods, watching movies, and shopping. She is passionate about animal welfare and tackling climate change.
