Select Primary Care: Leonidas Arapos, MD

Leonidas Arapos, MD, brings nearly a decade of experience in internal medicine to Select Primary Care. He serves adult patients living in and around Astoria, Queens, and throughout New York City. 
Dr. Arapos began his professional pursuits at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in chemistry. He subsequently enrolled at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica and obtained his Doctor of Medicine.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Arapos completed an internal medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He proudly holds membership in several professional organizations, including the Society of Hospital Medicine and the American College of Physicians
Dr. Arapos speaks English and Greek fluently and has a compassionate bedside manner. He’s friendly and understanding and takes the time to listen to each individual’s unique concerns. 
For established patients who are unable to visit the office, Dr. Arapos offers telemedicine appointments. This allows him to diagnose and treat patients over the phone or through video conferencing, just as he would in person.
