Sandhya Venugopal, MD, is proud to provide compassionate care to patients at Care and Cure AZ. Dr. Venugopal has been practicing as a Hospitalist and Primary Care Physician in the Phoenix, Arizona, area since completing her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Arizona in 2005.​
At Care and Cure AZ, Dr. Venugopal provides acute care, chronic care, post-acute care, and preventive care based on the principles and practice of Internal Medicine for adults (above 17 years of age). Her interests are in comprehensive and critical care medicine, with expertise in the prevention and management of chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, and stroke prevention. 
Dr. Venugopal specializes in the treatment of acute conditions like community-acquired infections of the respiratory tract, urinary and gynecological conditions, GERD-related symptoms, headaches, and musculoskeletal conditions. She also provides preventive health services like annual physicals, wellness exams, Pap smears*, well-woman exams *, immunizations*, and obesity counseling.
