Dr. Kamaljit Kaur, MD

Kamaljit Kaur, M.D., is a Family Medicine Physician specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of health issues, including simple and complex health conditions, chronic disease management, minor emergencies, urgent care and the coordination of specialty care. She strives to provide her patients with compassionate, comprehensive and evidence-based care that is individualized to their specific needs and culture. She firmly believes in educating her patients about wellness and prevention to help them avoid disease, reduce disability and maintain good health for optimal quality of life. She has conducted clinical research, published research in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at scientific symposiums. Dr. Kaur also has shared her knowledge with medical and nursing students while serving as clinical affiliate assistant professor at Florida Atlantic University, Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, and as clinical preceptor at Florida International University’s Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing. Here at Baptist Health South Florida, Dr. Kaur is paving the way with Primary Care On Demand; a novel way to increase access to comprehensive primary care through Telemedicine. During her spare time, Dr. Kaur enjoys reading and traveling.
