Located in the Loop in downtown Chicago, Illinois, Modern Mental Health delivers evidence-based psychiatric treatment to adults in an outpatient setting. Founded by Zachary Kordik, MD, in 2011, the team emphasizes empathy and respect and strives to build rapport with their patients to create relationships that benefit their mental health. Their goal is to make you feel comfortable, welcome, and validated.
The practice treats a variety of mental health disorders, including but not limited to, Major Depression, Anxiety, and Bipolar Disorder, as well as Substance Use Disorders. Your treatment may involve a combination of treatment modalities, including the use of psychiatric medications when indicated. Their clinicians are licensed to administer medications for the treatment of Substance Use Disorders, such as Vivitrol and Suboxone. An individualized treatment plan will be devised with you and your provider during your initial evaluation. They will also assist in making referrals and providing other resources that may be helpful in your mental health care.
Modern Mental Health also provides support and treatment to high accountability professionals and performs independent evaluations for medical professionals licensed through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
