"Dr. Dan's medical vocation formed in diverse landscape of people and places including in Haiti at an orphanage during undergrad at ASU; in Guatemala while completing a public health internship thru the University of Arizona; in Dili, East Timor at a community-based hospital; in Beira, Mozambique precepting medical students during residency in Anchorage, AK; in Bethel, AK at YKHC native-run hospital post-residency; in rural Southland, New Zealand caring for a farming community; and south of Seattle community health centers. He has since been drawn to a close knit family of practitioners here in Edmonds, WA where he has begun growing roots cultivated in the belief that community is essential food and nourishment and what has allowed him to live his call: to provide utmost quality healthcare as a right, not a privilege, to all."
