Jodie M. McIlvain, PA

As a new provider, Jodie is excited to work with people living with diabetes and feels passionately about developing relationships with her patients as well as utilizing new advances in technology and medications to improve the health and lives of her patients. People with diabetes manage many situations that impact their blood sugars and overall health. This solidifies her belief in collaborative medical care for people with diabetes including working with diabetes educators, dietitians, pharmacists and other providers to create the best possible health outcomes for her patients.Jodie attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado and earned her bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in english. She also earned a master's degree in education at MSU-Billings and taught science for 7 years in Laurel, Montana. Deciding to follow her passion for medicine and helping people, she then earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. When not working, Jodie enjoys being outside, hiking, rafting, skiing and staying active with her husband, three boys and two dogs. She also enjoys volunteering for Camp Montana, the diabetes camp for youth with diabetes.
