Mary E. Crawford, DPM

"Dr. Crawford has been with the Ankle & Foot Clinic of Everett since 1990. She is a past president of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and was the first female president of this prestigious organization in March 2009! Her specialty is reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and complex lower extremity dermatology. Dr. Crawford received her early education in her home state of New York attending Wells College. She then attended the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated in 1988. She received her advanced reconstructive surgery training at the Swedish Podiatric Surgical Residency Program (formerly NW Podiatric Surgical Residency Program) in Seattle, and graduated in 1990. She is a national and internationally recognized speaker (over 450 lectures) on: lower extremity dermatology and foot & ankle surgery. She has co-authored two major medical-surgical textbooks: Color Atlas of Foot and Ankle Dermatology and Lower Extremity Soft Tissue & Cutaneous Plastic Surgery as well as numerous other journal publications. She is past Residency Program Director of the Swedish Podiatric Surgical Residency Program at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle and current Director of International Affairs for The International Foot & Ankle Foundation for Education and Research. Dr. Crawford's passions are traveling with her husband (particularly to Italy), golfing, mountain day hiking, and morning walks with her dog. She is an active volunteer of the Everett Animal Shelter."
