Stephanie Stephanie, MD

Dr. Stephanie Stephanie is an internal medicine physician who practices in Ventura. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care to her patients, and to keeping up to date with the latest medical research. She is also passionate about treating local underserved populations and global health, and has completed six medical mission trips to countries including Tanzania, Haiti, South Korea, Indonesia and Uganda.

Dr. Stephanie was born in Indonesia and raised in Singapore and Australia before she moved to the United States on her own at 16 to pursue her dream of becoming a physician. She received her bachelor�s degree from UC Berkeley, graduating Summa Cum Laude in Nutritional Science & Toxicology with a minor in French. Due to her passion for health disparities, she pursued her medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine, where she focused her medical education in underserved communities. She next completed one year of surgical training at MedStar-Georgetown University before she realized she missed patient connection and decided to pursue internal medicine instead. She completed her internal medicine residency training at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, where she became an active advocate for resident and physician wellness and founded the University of Maryland Midtown Resident Wellness Initiative Program.

Dr. Stephanie is fluent in English, Indonesian and Mandarin and proficient in French. When she is not busy volunteering abroad or mentoring local students, she enjoys playing tennis, walking her golden retriever and painting.
